- Loose cable along either side of the door

- Gaps between rollers and track

- A bottom corner sitting lower than the other
Do not touch loose cables, cable drums, bottom brackets, or a door hanging crooked. These parts can carry spring tension. Keep the opening clear and stop using the opener.

Can I put a garage door cable back on myself?
We do not recommend it. Cable systems interact with high-tension springs and can move suddenly.
Why did the cable come off?

Will new rollers make the door quieter?
Often, but noise can also come from hinges, bearings, opener vibration, track alignment, or poor balance.
